This large shiro suita stone has a very fine matrix of nashi-ji particles throughout the whole surface of the stone with touches of renge in one area. The back of the stone with a partial skin shows bright flashes of renge and an overall nashi-ji composition.

This is a hard and fast cutting stone of the highest quality and character. Grit level is at least 38,000 if not higher if you factor in the natural grit particles crush even finer while in use. The blade is left with the classic hazy kasumi look that creates an excellent cutting edge.
