In the center right BETSU SEN (special)

And the paper label reads from left to right and down TOKUSAN (special) below that KOZANMOTO (Kozanmoto Mining Co.) down the center SHO HONYAMA NARUTAKI AWASEDO (true original mountain Narutaki finishing stone)

There are touches of renge showing here and there and part of the strata skin is on the back as you can see in the photos.

This is a good size medium hard stone that has a grit level of the low 30,000. I believe that this stone was mined in the 1950's and will quickly bring up a lot of black particles while leaving hardly any paste. This would be a good stone for chisels.
