SHIRO SUITA AWASEDO with Renge 205 - 75 - 32mm 1.2 kg. = 2.6 lbs. Marked at the upper right in small kanji TOKUSEN (specially chosen). And next to the left SHO HONZAN SUITA (original mountain suita strata) And down the center SEI KOKYUHIN (very best quality). One of the most interesting stones that I am offering, the shiro suita white body of the stone shows off the deep almost black renge alongside a field of brown nashi-ji spotting that lead all the way down through the stone to the hand chisled back side of the stone. No apologizes for this beautiful expression of nature. The stone cuts very fast on all steels without the use of nagura or DM* and leaves all of the classic attributes of the finest awase toishi including a very sharp edge. The grit particle of this stone approaches 40,000 and maybe greater. It is medium hard and will stay flat thru the final honing process.
